Last month, Mexico has suffered several powerful earthquakes, but the festival’s organisers have decided that the first Ultra Mexico will go ahead this weekend as planned.
On the other hand, the festival has taken the generous decision to lower the general admission tickets, with half the money from each discounted ticket sold between 28th September and 5th October and donating that money to the Mexico City earthquake relief fund. They made the announcement on their facebook page:
“From 28 September and until 5 October you will be able to make your promotion valid with the code ‘MexicoUnido’ and buy your general subscription at $2,300 pesos also at Forum Buenavista Shopping Centre. (remember that 50% will be donated to the victims of the earthquake in Mexico).”
Artists like Alesso, Dubfire, Knife Party, Martin Garrix, Richie Hawtin and more are going to perform this weekend event.
