It has been a massive year for Trance fans around the world when it comes to studio albums this year, Cosmic Gate dropped Materia Chapter 1 and 2, Ferry Corsten took us by storm with Blueprint an album that will echo for many years to come and now the most influential electronic music artists from Egypt, Aly & Fila on the 18th of September released their 5th Studio Album named after one of the most majestic tracks of the album: ‘Beyond The Lights‘!
When the Egyptian duo released their first studio album ‘Rising Sun’ back in 2010, they already were one of the best established names among the Trance Artists, during this following years they’ve expanded even more their studio work with ‘Quiet Storm’ in 2013, ‘The Other Shore’ in 2014 and ‘The Chill Out’ in 2015. Achieving this while touring globally and carrying their signature sound with them wherever they go, they’ve also recently achieved 500 episodes of ‘Future Sound Of Egypt’, their Radio show that carries the name of the label they’ve founded, celebrating this milestone with an event close to one of the 7 Classic Wonders of the World, the ‘Great Pyramid of Giza’ they surely carry their flag with them for everyone to see.
With all the studio albums being well received by the audience, Beyond The Lights will be no different, an album that deserves to be taken into account even by non-Trance Listeners around the world, it’s a trip from start to finish through and unique, uplifting and euphoric sounds of the duo. Collaborating with artists such as Ferry Corsten, Ferry Tayle, Emma Hewitt and HALIENE made this album even richer and more gratifying to listen. Like most albums it certainly have some highlight tunes, ‘Shadow’ with Scott Bond and Charlie Walker, ‘Concorde’ with Ferry Tayle, the FSOE 500 Anthem ‘The Chronicles’ itself and of corse the piece of music that gave the name to the album – ‘Beyond The Lights’ are most likely those.
Let the Egyptian duo take you on this Journey ‘Beyond The Lights‘ such as it has taken us!
