Tomorrowland weekend 1 has come to a close, although it’s all over for a little less than a week until weekend 2 stories keep coming to surface. This one comes from Dutch DJ Martin Garrix.

DJ Mag’s number one DJ has proven his versatility over the years, wether that is through his productions or his   AREA21 alias with American raper Maejor, releasing tracks such as “Spaceships”, “Girls”, and most recently, “We Did It”. During this past Saturday, July 22, at Tomorrowland, Martin Garrix hosted his own STMPD RCRDS stage as the founder of the imprint. The stage welcomed performances from the likes of Dyro, Don Diablo, and Steve Angello, alongside Garrix who closed the night himself.

However the biggest surprise come in the warm-up as an unknown DJ named YTRAM, who played behind a mask. A fan page published a video of YTRAM performing, this young DJ played mostly Deep, Bass and Tech House tracks throughout his set. Suspicion raised when both YTRAM and and Martin Garrix wore the same clothes, and the fact that “YTRAM” is Garri’s real-life nickname backwards also gave away of Martin Garrix being behind the new alias.

Not much more information has been disclosed, whether there will be productions under the alias YTRAM or new gigs.
