Today it was time for the “Portuguese Armada” to be announced at EDP Beach Party, Karetus, Kevu, Carlos Manaça and Miss Sheila confirmed to play at the Praia do Aterro!

Karetus one of the most beloved acts in Portugal will be making a return, after an amazing performance in 2016, the duo will be bringing their energetic set back to the praia do aterro know as “Full Flavour”, it’s impossible to categorise these artists, their sets are full of energy, fusions of all the different Dance Music genres, party and plenty of fun to be had. They will surely be one of the best at this year’s EDP Beach Party by Nova Era.

Kevu will be making their premier on a big stage in Portugal, after huge support from Blasterjaxx and even being invited to go on stage by the Ducth duo at this very same festival last year. The duo producing mostly Big Room, have experienced rapid growth for the past year especially since they changed their name from Kerafix & Vultaire to Kevu. Seen as one of the best emerging talents from Portugal the duo have released under Blasterjaxx‘s own imprint Maxximize Records and Hardwell‘s own imprint Revelaed Records.

Techno, Tech-House and House will be coming back to EDP Beach Party by Radio Nova Era, Friday and Saturday sunset slots will be in control of Carlos Manaça and Miss Sheila respectively. Carlos Manaça one of the most respected names in the Portuguese Dance Music scene with over 30 year long career, Carlos has been in the active since 1989, but it wasn’t until 1992 that his career really took off while being resident at two of most coveted clubs in Portugal who pushed Dance Music further.  Miss Sheila one of the female pioneers in the Portuguese Dance Scene, the talented DJ & Producer who produces mostly Techno and Tech-House has released under various international labels and recently launching her own imprint, Digital Waves.

The “Portuguese Armada” will join the already announced Hardwell, Martin Garrix, Moksi, Mat Zo, Carnage and many more. The stage is set, the question is, will you be there?
