Rumors surrounding the USA edition of Mysteryland cancellation have been around for a while now.
Mysteryland is a series of Dance Music festivals hosted by Dutch promoter company ID&T – Also hosts Tomorrowland and Sensation Events – the event was the first of it’s kind in the country when it was established, being the only Dance Music festival in The Netherlands at the time. In 2014 the promotores decided to expand into USA territory hosted at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, the site of the notable woodstock festival.
Today Dancing Austronaut advanced that the festival is infact going to be cancelled, as Dancing Austronaut reached out a source from inside the festival, who – speaking on the condition of anonymity – confirmed that Mysteryland has been cancelled for 2017, the festival will also be making a statement this weekend.
ID&T have been struggling for some time now, never being able to get a hold of the American market, especially after the disaster that was TomorrowWorld. The Dutch company has cancelled TomorrowWorld, Sensation events and now rumored to cancel Mysteryland too.
