Lisboa Electronica set to bring out the best of Portuguese electronic music to the world.
LX Factory, a place where experiences become reality, where dreams, thoughts, ideas and products become true, a place of all to all, was the location picked for the event, across 4 rooms filled with music and talks. The event will run on May 12-13th, with 19 confirmed Portuguese and 6 international label showcases, plenty of music conferences and creative workshops will certainly satisfy your every need and want in Dance Music.
With such an amazing location, that embodies though provoking experiences and living, it was only right the event followed suit and that they did.
The purpose of this festival is exactly the opposite of the main electronic events these days. Its about culture, and creating the best platform available for artists to express their work, as close to their record labels and their loved ones as possible.
Inviting what Portugal best has to offer from Bloop Recordings with then years of experience, to world African inspired sounds Principe Discos, Ministerium Records, Paraiso, Tink! Records, Lavareda, Groovement and many many more.
However the festival isn’t made only out of Portuguese labels, veteran Rødhåd is bringing his own imprint – dystopian – and with him Drumcell and Vrill Live, London based DJ James Ruskin will be bringing Blueprint to Portugal and with him DVS1, other international labels looked in for the first edition of Lisboa Electronica are Tresor, Perlon, Half Baked and Discobar.
The stage is set with such an amazing lineup, location and event put together it’s down to you – our readers – to make it down to LX Factory and live Lisboa Electronica!
