Today, the techno festival that takes place inside of the Castle of Montemor-o-Velho in Coimbra annouced the much awaited confirmations for this year’s edition.

Between 24th August and 26th August, Forte Festival hosts Jeff Mills: one of the Detroit techno legends and who has been here for several times to play at Lux Frágil (Lisbon), Gare Club (Porto), NEOPOP Festival and more. He has also revealed a few days ago the full details of his next studio album called “Planets”.

The spanish techno producer Oscar Mulero is also back to Portugal after playing at last year’s edition of NEOPOP Festival.

The russian-born DJ and live performer Dasha Rush is also set to play at Forte Festival after playing at NEOPOP Festival in 2015. In that same year she launched an album called “Sleepstep” which was consider as dubby but intense, brutal but tender, foggy yet clear. As you can see it is such an amazing album full of contradictions.

DVS1 and Shifted (they have been in Portugal as well) joins the line up as well as Blawan, Byetone, Clark, In Aeternam Vale, Kangding Ray, Lucy, Nathan Fake, Ninos du Brasil, Peder Mannerfelt and the last but not the least Ron Morelli.

This year’s edition looks promising…
