Electric Daisy Carnival has canceled it’s United Kingdom leg for this year and the foreseen future.

EDC hosted it’s first event in the UK back in 2014, the event has called Milton Keynes National Bowl, since then insomniac has brought an all-encompassing carnival for the 21st century. From rides and performers to mind-blowing fireworks and art installations to cutting-edge sound and special effects, you’ll find yourself immersed in another world.

Last years lineup counted with names such as Eric Prydz, Avicii, Axwell /\ Ingrosso, Martin Garrix, Paul Van Dyk and many more, this year’s edition was going to plan and tickets were already on sale. That was until today, were Insomniac has announced this year’s edition will not happen and future editions are on hold until further notice, reasoning behind it is the standard of production that can’t be meet.

In a notice at the official EDC UK website it can be read;

Our plans to grow and improve the festival at Milton Keynes have not developed as we had hoped, and we are not going to be able to stage EDC UK this July in a manner that meets all of our high expectations.

As a result, we are indefinitely postponing the show until we can properly re-imagine all areas of the experience. We apologize for the inconvenience we know this causes, and we thank you for understanding.

We will keep updating you as more information on the matter comes out, as this is certainly a huge loss for Dance Music in general!
