Although we have already entered 2017, there are still some assessments that can be done about the previous year. Surely you’ve taken a look at several Year Mixes but this time we have something ‘different’ for you.

1001tracklists has unveiled a list of the most played tracks in live sets and mixes during the previous year. Even though some hits do not appear in prominent places because they were released later in the year, this list gives you an idea of what tracks were most played in sets throughout the world.

Once you see the list it is easy to notice that despite they are numbered, many tracks appear on the same position due to their matching number of plays, making it extensive.

Leading the list, Promise Land’s ‘X-Press’ comes in with a massive 197 plays, setting some margin to the rest. Charting at #2, CID’s track ‘No!’ was played 166 times and, closing the podium, Oliver Heldens & Throttle’s future house track ‘Waiting’ comes with 159 plays.

Take a deeper look at the full list here.
