For the 5th year in a row our partner at 100% DJ are putting together a poll, this year you can select 5 of your favourite DJs and Producers for an opportunity to be featured in the top 30!

Votes for the award will run between 26th of October and 8th of December (Today), the Top 30 was created to award DJs and Producers for their hardship, dedication and work. Given the fact that today is the last day open for votes, we decided to do pick 11 DJs and Producers who deserve to be in the Top 30.

2win BeamAre a duo from Leiria, they have been producing for a number of years now, the duo produce mostly bass music, from Dubstep to trap to future bass. They have seen various of their track being supported by the biggest youtube channels of the genre.

Ben AmbergenBen is from Lisbon, his career started off by playing at different clubs in Lisbon, he mostly produces Big Room, Electro House and Progressive house tracks. The producer had a tremendous year by playing at MEO Sudoeste, many of his production being supported by Hardwell on his radio show and finally “Get Out” an original from Ben broke into Beatport’s top 100 reaching 18th place.

David SouzaYet another DJ/Producer from Leiria, his career also started very early by DJing in his hometown, David mostly produces Future House and Progressive house. His year was the best yet, with support from Oliver Heldens, Fedde Le Grand, Kryder and many more, David Souza also released an oficial remix for Bob Sinclair under Spinning Records and to top it all off was given the opportunity to open RFM Somnii, the biggest Dance Music festival in Portugal.

Dead Chaos: Dead Chaos is from Vila Nova de Gaia, his career started his career in 2012(3), he mostly produces Trap and future bass. The DJ and Producer had an amazing year production wise with the release of an official remix of Kura’s track “King Kong”, Kura praised the young producer in various occasions and to top it all off Kura and Dead Chaos have a collaboration in the works (Release date or information on it is still scarce).

Deepblue/Fallou: The DJ/Producer is from Viseu, his career started very early in his live playing at local bars, he mostly produces Progressive House and Future House. This has been one of the best years for Deepblue as he has had the opportunity to play at even more events and confirmed the release of two tracks, one of them coming later this month on Warner Brothers.

Fallou is Deepblue’s new alter-ego, which focuses in House music, not much has come out, however a remix has been released and reached 3rd on the Traxsource Top 100 staying there for a few weeks.

Digital MilitiaThe duo come from Oliveira de Azemeis, they started producing a few years ago and mostly produce Progressive and Electro House music. Digital Militia had a slightly shy year compared to 2015, but never the less they had a great year releasing originals and remixes which were supported by Tiesto, Blasterjaxx, Chuckie, Thomas Gold and many more, recently they announced a collaboration with Club Banditz and they have signed with Universal Music worldwide.

Energy System: The duo come from Lisbon, there career started around 2006, being one of the most experienced artists of this list, the duo produce mostly Big Room and Electro House, the duo were part of a trio with Kura called “The Donkers”. In 2016 this duo received great support from same of the biggest names in the game such as Kura, Thomas Newson, Chuckie and many more and to top it all off the duo have announced a new original to be released on Ultra Records.

KEVUThis duo also come from Lisbon, there career started in 2014 and since then have already created huge waves, the duo mainly produce Big Room and Electro House. 2016 was possibly the best year so far, with huge support from Hardwell and Blasterjaxx releasing originals in their labels respectively, Only good thing can come out from this due in the future.

MaxumThis is the only DJ/Producer who was not born in Portugal, but in fact he was born in Canada. Maxum started producing music in 2013, producing mostly progressive house and Groove house. The young Luso-Canadian had the best year of his career releasing under Spinnin Records and Eclypse Records and playing once again at Ultra Miami in one of the side stages.

Pete KThe talented DJ/Producer started from Lisbon, started producing in 2010, producing mostly Progressive House. Pete K had the best year yet, releasing an EP under ZeroThree which gained support from various artists worldwide such as Above & Beyond, Bobina and many more, this Friday yet another track will be released under ZeroThree to close the year in class for the “Portuguese Prydz”

Von Di CarloThis is the only girl producer we have in this list, Von di Carlo comes from Lisbon and started producing around 2009 becoming one of the most veteran DJs in this list talent list, Von di Carlo produces mostly because Bass Music transitioning from Progressive House. Her 2016 was one of the best releasing many original and remixes, winning a speakers panel during ADE and to top it all off, Von played at MEO Sudoeste.

This was our list, this guys deserve all the attention they can get. If you haven’t voted make sure you vote for them as they deserve the spotlight. There will be a follow up article to this one were we will pick a few more seasoned/experienced DJ/Producers who also had an amazing year, but this isn’t about them, it’s about the talent that is growing!
