Resident Advisor (RA) is an online music magazine, community platform that’s dedicated to showcasing electronic music, artists and events across the globe established in 2001, with over 2 million visits a month.

With such power and notoriety, RA has set out to bring the world’s most comprehensive Top 100 for Underground music. Resident Advisor says:

… Every weekend, countless people around the world shell out hard-earned cash to hear DJs mix records. Some are only after a good night out, but many are looking for something more elusive—a moment of transcendence that’s only possible on a good night on a good dance floor with a good DJ playing. With this annual poll, we ask who gave you that experience in the last 12 months. With the result, we toast the artists who, weekend after weekend, give people memories that will stay with them for years, proving beyond a shadow of a doubt that dance music is more than entertainment—it’s one of the essential art forms of our time.

This year and for the forth year in a row Dixon took the number one spot, in second place was Jackmaster and to close the podium was Tale of Us. Carl Cox, The Black Madonna, Patrick Topping, Skream and Hunee managed to break into the top 20 in this years poll.
